YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – After back-to-back lopsided losses, Cardinal Mooney took their frustration out on visiting Erie McDowell 35-0.

With an early 7-0 lead, the Cardinals’ Jack Lynch took the ball 25 yards for the score to make it 14-0.

With 9:16 remaining in the second quarter, Brayshon Lott took an Erie McDowell punt 44 yards for the score, Cardinals lead increased to 21-0.

Then with 1:46 remaining in the half, Lynch found the endzone again on a 38 yard touchdown run.

In the fourth, Jaylen Hewlett punched it in from one yard out for six and Mooney would roll 35-0.

Cardinal Mooney will next play Warren G. Harding on October 15th.
