Fitch wins by one point

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – In a matchup of big schools looking to make a statement with a victory on Friday night the Austintown Fitch Falcons topped Massillon 7-6.

Following a Massillon fumble, the Falcons cashed in on a Randy Smith three yard touchdown run to give the Falcons the 7-0 lead.

With 8:38 remaining in the third the Tigers’ Austin Jasinski took a punt 60 yards for the score but a missed point after kept the Falcons ahead 7-6.

Austintown Fitch (4-2) will travel to Lakeside next week.
