LISBON, Ohio (WKBN) – Halfway through the season and undefeated, the Lisbon Blue Devils kept the winning streak going, defeating Wellsville 33-12 Friday night.

Opening the scoring, Lisbon’s Josh Liberati connected with Austin Rutecki from 10 yards out to put the Blue Devils ahead 6-0.

On the ensuing kickoff Michael Shope took the kick back 84 yards for the score, tying the game at 6 a piece.

Later in the quarter, Liberati threw his second touchdown pass, this time to Frankie Morrell from 14 yards out to put the Blue Devils back on top, 13-6.

The Blue Devils’ special teams stepped up to create a scoring opportunity of their own, Lisbon’s lead increased to 20-6.

Then it was Liberati using his arm once again, connecting with Jared White on a 29 yard touchdown pass to increase the Lisbon lead to 26-6.
