Primary Health Network under construction in Sharon

Construction on the Primary Health Network building has begun in Sharon.

SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – Construction is underway on the first building constructed in Sharon since the 1960s.

The new building will be home to the Primary Health Network. It will be five stories tall, and once a beam is placed, it will be the tallest building in Sharon.

Sharon has not had a new building constructed since 1969.

“We’ll have Primary Care, including two pediatric offices, behavioral health, ear, nose and throat, orthopedic services, as well as administrative offices and we’ll have over 15,000 square feet to expand to meet our future needs,” said Primary Health Network Marketing Manager Rachel Reichart.

Ground was broken on the project in December 2014. Construction is scheduled to be finished by the summer of 2016.
