On the opening play of the game, the Irish fumbled the ball away, giving the Big Red great field position. On the first play of the drive, Steubenville’s Johnny Blue punched it in, giving the Big Red the early lead.

With :23 remaining in the opening quarter, the Big Red struck again when Dimitri Collaros connected with Niko Petrides on a 24 yard touchdown pass, pushing their lead to 14-0.

In the second quarter, Steubenville increased their lead to three scores when Collaros found Petrides again on a 77 yard strike for the score.

Collaros called his own number on the Big Red’s next scoring drive, pushing the lead to 28-6.

Still in the second quarter, Collaros found his favorite target, Petrides, once again to make it 35-6 in the first half.

In the second half it was more of the same as the Big Red found the endzone once again on another Blue touchdown run to make it 42-6.

Ursuline (3-3) will look to get back in the win column next week when they take on Massillon.
