Colin Anzevino was found hanged in his cell Sunday morning at the Mahoning County jail in Youngstown, Ohio.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – An inmate at the Mahoning County Jail was found hanged in his cell Sunday.

Guards found Colin Anzevino, 21, unresponsive inside his cell Sunday morning.

He was taken to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown where he was pronounced dead.

A preliminary autopsy is being conducted.

Anzevino was arrested in April following a home invasion at 52 E. Oakland Ave. in Struthers. The invasion sent the resident to the hospital with head injuries and a stab wound to his left arm, according to Struthers police.

Police believe Anzevino was part of a trio involving Marc Cooper and Timothy Conzett.

All three suspects were charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault. Conzett and Cooper also are facing 15 counts of receiving stolen property.
