Canfield girls soccer holds off Boardman

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Canfield Girls’ Soccer team remains undefeated following a 3-1 win over Boardman Monday night at Spartan Stadium.

Canfield Junior Ana Kilbert scored off an assist from Senior Captain Haylee Klacik.  Klacik later added a goal of her own off an assist from Elizabeth Pilloli.  The Cardinals capped off the scoring on an own-goal.

Canfield outshot Boardman 23-2 on the night.

Cardinals Goalkeeper Olivia VanDevender finished with two saves.

The Spartans lone tally of the night came courtesy of Sara Downie.  Boardman Goalkeeper Camille Holzschuh tallied 14 saves.

Canfield improves to 11-0-1 on the season, including an undefeated mark in conference play.
