Man shot in face in Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man is in the hospital Monday after being shot in the face on Youngstown’s south side, according to Youngstown Police.

Police believe the shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of Rush Blvd. and East Lucius in Youngstown. Someone shot the victim in the face, and someone else drove the victim to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown.

The driver of the car that took the victim to the hospital then drove to 429 E. Indianola Ave. Youngstown Police crime lab detectives are at both scenes.
