Facebook tests new ways to express emotion

Facebook is testing new emotions icons in Ireland and Spain.

(CNN) – It is not a “dislike” button, but Facebook is testing news ways to express emotions beyond “like.”

The social media giant is rolling out “reactions” in Spain and Ireland.

Facebook says the new buttons express a broader range of emotions and include “love,” “wow,” and “yay.” The also include happy and sad faces.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg said his company was coming up with ways for users to express emotions express sympathy beyond the “like” button.

A Facebook official said the new buttons will become available to U.S. users in a Couple of weeks.
