The Leopards outscored the Warriors 28-0 over the course of the final two and half quarters. Rahzul Young ran in two scores and Tyler Adams’ 33-yard grab with 0:57 remaining from Jake Adams sealed the victory (34-20) for the Leopards.
Since falling in their season opener to Crestwood (47-12), West Branch had put together five straight victories including three league matchups prior to tonight.
The Leopards hold a 15-2 mark against West Branch over their last 17 meetings. In their previous two games against one another, Louisville had won 99-0 over the Warriors.
Louisville’s lone loss on the season was against Fitch (37-19) in week three.
Next up for the Warriors will be a road trip to Canton South. Louisville returns home for the second time within the last six weeks with a contest against Carrollton.
