South Range dominates United for 5th win

HANOVERTON, Ohio (WKBN) – Over the course of the game’s final 36:47, South Range outscored United 41-14 to post their fifth win of the year as they defeated the Golden Eagles 41-17.

South Range outgained United 449 to 177 in total yards of offense. J.R. Renforth gained 110 yards on 6 carries for the Raiders. Nathan Daniszewski and Seth Morrow both had 76 and 49 rushing yards apiece. Morrow completed 8 of 14 passes for 145 yards and 2 scores.

Colton Antram rushed for 79 yards on 12 attempts for United. Colton Graham completed 3 passes for 44 stripes.

The Raiders converted 5 of 9 third down plays (55.6%) compared to 2 of 12 for United (16.7%).

Since allowing 30 points in their season opening loss to Warren JFK, the Raiders have allowed a total of 58 points over their recent six game stretch.

South Range has now won their last five meetings with the Eagles.

The Golden Eagles have dropped their last three games while allowing 165 points to be scored.

United (2-5) will play at Wellsville next week while South Range (5-2) will travel to Crestview in a much anticipated matchup.
