WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – Residents in Wellsville without drinking water can pick up bottled water Friday after 5 p.m at the Wellsville Fire Department.

The water was provided by Wal-Mart in Calcutta.

Repairs on a water break in the village are expected to be complete Saturday, but a boil alert will remain in effect until further notice.

The break happened Thursday near the intersection of Route 45 and Wells Ave.

A Buckeye Water District representative told WKBN that a temporary bypass has been set up to keep water flowing to customers, but some are still without water and others may have low water pressure.
