Aquinas too much for Valley Christian

Poland, OH (WKBN) – The Valley Christian football team put up a good fight in the first half, but fell short of St. Thomas Aquinas Saturday 45-24.

The Knights struck first on a six yard touchdown run by Tommy McCauley to make it a 7-0 early. The Eagles would keep it close though with a 26 yard field goal by sophomore Logan Schnabl to cut the game to 7-3.

Later in the 2nd quarter, Nathan Rich would score for Aquinas to extend their lead to 14-3 and they would never look back.
