Fire Prevention Week wraps up with open houses

HOWLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – In a fitting end to Fire Prevention Week, many fire departments across the nation and here in the Valley held an open houses Saturday to help educate the public on fire safety.

Warren Township, Howland and Warren City were a few departments in Trumbull County that held events.

In Howland, firefighters performed demonstrations, including vehicle extractions, fire extinguisher use, and fire extinguishing operations.
