FBI looks for links in string of Ohio dollar store robberies

CLEVELAND (AP) – The FBI says it’s looking for links in a string of dollar store robberies in the Cleveland area.

The agency says there have been at least 10 holdups over the last month in Cleveland and East Cleveland.

The Northeast Ohio Media Group reports that the FBI hopes the public can help identify robbers shown on surveillance video during two Family Dollar robberies on consecutive days.

One store was robbed on Oct. 1 when a man pretending to buy candy pulled out a pistol and took cash from a register.
