No foul play suspected in Mercer County death

CARLTON, Pa. (WKBN) – Police in Mercer County are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a burned out car, but they don’t suspect foul play.

The coroner identified the man as a Jason Gould, 45, of Carlton. He was found at his home Thursday inside a burned out vehicle. The coroner ruled the cause of death as asphyxiation following an apparent cardiac event.

The death was ruled accidental.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
