Delphi-union contract talks continue

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Contract talks between Delphi and one of its unions continue Wednesday.

Communications Workers Local 717 President Ed Salus told us just a little bit ago that they are taking it hour by hour, but the membership is confident the two sides will reach an agreement.

The contract between Delphi and the union ended Monday, but workers are still on the job.

The local represents about 600 workers at plants in Warren and Vienna.

Delphi once employed 14,000 in the Valley before it went bankrupt in October 2005.
