YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Students at Ursuline high school are enjoying a new classroom as of Thursday.
A special blessing reception was held at the Catholic school for the new science classroom.
The classroom got a total makeover, with new furniture, equipment, walls and floors.
The teacher who will use the classroom said the upgrades were important to have.
“It’s important because it keeps us on the cutting edge of technology and the cutting edge of all things education,” Chemistry Teacher Jennifer Depizzo said.
About 100 students will use the classroom from sophomores to seniors.
There will be bench lab experiments in class and other activities to use all the resources to its full capacity.
