SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Some reports are suggesting the Facebook app might be to blame for your iPhones battery life shortage.

According to the CEO of the news app, Circa,  the app uses battery life even without being open. When the app is within the cellular network, or Wi-Fi range, it can update its content, which drains your phone’s battery.

Facebook released a statement saying, “it is aware of the problem and is looking for ways to fix it.”
