WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Just 24 hours after 35-year-old Teresa Hunter of Warren was found shot to death, detectives arrested the man who they said is responsible.

William Fambro, 44, of Warren was arrested Friday morning and charged with aggravated murder and theft. He was taken to the county jail, where he awaits his arraignment, set for Monday afternoon.

His arrest comes the morning after police were called to the Riverview Motel on Parkman Road.

When detectives arrived, the motel manager told them Hunter had checked in on Wednesday but did not check out on time Thursday. She had been found by another manager, laying on the floor next to the bed with multiple gunshot wounds.

Warren Police Lt. Jeff Cole praised the hard work of detectives for solving the case.

“It’s a very laboring task to solve a homicide, so it just goes to their credit that they worked so hard to get it solved so quickly,” he said.

Police have yet to release a motive in the shooting.
