Escaped inmate on the run

MERCER, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer have advised residents to be on the lookout for an inmate who escaped from the Sharon Community Corrections Center overnight.

Michael Samball was allowed to reside in a transitional residence in the 1300 block of South Keel Ridge Road in Hermitage.

He was ordered to report back to the Sharon Community Corrections Center due to an administrative issue and failed to do so.

Please notify your local police department if you encounter this man.
