Mill Creek lily pond closing for ten weeks

Mill Creek MetroParks Lily Pond to be rehabbed

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Lily Pond at Mill Creek MetroParks is getting a facelift. But that means you won’t be able to visit for the next ten weeks.

Work starts Monday on adding a new arrival area, drinking fountain, and information kiosk.

A boardwalk will lead to an observation deck looking out over the pond.

The trail around the pond will also be redone, complete with a floating boardwalk and new bridge.
