MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) – Authorities are investigating a fiery car crash that killed three people and injured one man in Ohio.
It happened at around 4 a.m. Sunday in Mansfield. The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Steven Foley Jr. was heading south on Route 430 when the car went off the right side of the road.
Police say it then re-entered the road and traveled off the left side, hitting four trees and catching fire.
Police say Foley, 20-year-old Zachary Lawson and 24-year-old Corrine Coleman died in the crash.
A fourth passenger, 22-year-old Brandon Moore, was injured and taken to a local hospital. Police say he was the only person wearing a seatbelt.
Investigators say they suspect alcohol might have been a factor.
