Campbell Police: City woman struck officers during DUI arrest

CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – A Campbell woman faces numerous charges including DUI after police say she struck the officers who were arresting her.

35-year-old Kelly Clark was pulled over in the Save A Lot parking lot on McCartney Road Monday night when she refused to get out of the car and kicked two police officers. She also broke the back window inside the police cruiser.

Clark had her 9-year-old child in the back seat, adding to the charges. The child is with a relative and Clark was taken to the Mahoning County Jail.

She is charged with assaulting an officer, endangering children, vandalizing government property, resisting arrest, and driving under the influence of alcohol.
