Grand jury indicts Wellsville man on arson and domestic violence charges

WELLSVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A Columbiana County grand jury indicted a Wellsville man for burning his house down during a domestic dispute.

According to the Morning Journal, Ronald L. Knight, 42, Wellsville, is charged with domestic violence, having weapons while under a disability and aggravated arson.

Knight is accused of burning down his home during a Sept. 23 domestic fight with his live-in girlfriend, Tina Paquette. He is charged with harming Paquette and having a .22 caliber rifle, both of which were allegedly committed after he already had domestic violence convictions.

Police said Knight was heavily intoxicated when he fired the rifle into the air and yelled that he had four more rounds to go and proceeded to light his house on fire. Police also said he hit Paquette in the face and head causing visible bruising.
