Two taken to hospital after crash in Weathersfield Twp.

WEATHERSFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Two people were were taken to the hospital following an accident on State Route 46 at Depot Road around 6 p.m. Thursday.

The accident involved a pick-up truck and Chevy Cruze and happened in front of Jones Dance Academy.

The driver of the Cruze was identified as Devon Grafton, a Mineral Ridge High School football player. He suffered a slight head injury, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper who was at the scene of the crash.

The other driver is Patrick Sylvester, 50, according to the Warren post of State Highway Patrol. Troopers cited Sylvester in the accident, stating that he went left of the road’s center line.

Sylvester and Grafton were both taken to the hospital, but they did not suffer serious injuries, according to Highway Patrol. No other information was provided on the crash.
