LaBrae strengthens hold on playoff spot with decisive win

LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio (WKBN) – One team is looking to the playoffs in a couple weeks and the other is looking to play spoiler as the LaBrae Vikings meet the Girard Indians in week nine action.

The Vikings jumped out to an early lead thanks to two touchdown runs by senior back Keevon Harris of two yard and 10 yards to put LaBrae ahead 13-0 early.

The Indians’ offense found it’s footing in the second quarter, where they trailed 20-14, but the Vikings were too much as they ran away with the game 47-21.

LaBrae (7-2) started the week in sixth place in Division V, Region 15 and will host Jefferson in the week’s final season.

Girard (1-8) will end their season next week against their biggest rival, Liberty.
