LOUISVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – Salem was seeking their first Northeastern Buckeye Conference title. However, Louisville had other plans as the Quakers’ bid was denied 40-10 tonight in what was billed as the conference championship matchup. By virtue of their win, the Leopards have won at least a share of the league title the last three seasons.

Standout Leopard running back Rahzul Young scored three touchdowns and Jake Adams tossed two scoring more strikes (both to Tyler Adams) on the evening. In the first twenty-four minutes of action, Louisville outgained Salem 260-115 in total yardage. Young ran for 136 yards on 19 rushes.
The last time the Quakers came away with a victory against Louisville was in 1928 (34-13).
