Issues on November ballot will decide pot legalization

Two opposing issues on marijuana legalization will be on Ohio's November ballot.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – Ohio voters will decide whether or not to legalize both medical and recreational marijuana on November 3rd.

ResponsibleOhio is the driving force behind Issue 3, which would make growing, selling and using marijuana legal.

Backers say this new law would free up the courts and bring in millions in tax dollars.

Growing would be done at ten sites around the state.

The state assembly has put an issue on the ballot as well. Issue 2 would make that marijuana cartel illegal immediately.

Analysts don’t know what will happen if both issues pass.
