Peace Race runners take off in Youngstown

Runners took to the streets in Youngstown for the Peace Race

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The streets of Youngstown were packed today with runners for the 41st annual Youngstown Peace Race.

The 10k race and two mile walk attracts people from all over the country.

It kicked off this morning at the intersection of Kirk Road and South Schenley Avenue.

Runners got a scenic view as they went through Mill Creek Park.

The finish line was on Federal Plaza in downtown Youngstown.
