Lordstown turnpike ramp reopens

LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The summer-long closure of the westbound Ohio Turnpike (I-80) exit ramp to Hallock-Young Road in Lordstown has ended. The ramp at Exit 216 reopened on Monday.

The closing was part of a five-mile-long project to replace pavement all the way down to the base in a heavily traveled area of the toll road.

The project continues between mileposts 216 and 221 in Trumbull and Mahoning Counties. The turnpike says there will be lane restrictions between now and mid-November.
