$20K in marijuana seized in Hancock County

Four pounds of marijuana was seized during a traffic stop in Hancock County, Ohio.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – Over $20,000 in marijuana was seized during a traffic stop in Hancock County.

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway were patrolling Interstate 75 in Hancock County on October 22 when they saw a vehicle with a Texas license plate make an improper lane change. The vehicle was stopped and the troopers called a drug-sniffing dog to the scene.

The K-9 led troopers to several baggies in the trunk, which contained four pounds of marijuana.

Steven Roumeliote, 32, of Columbus, was incarcerated in the Hancock County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony.
