CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Canfield High School is continuing one of it’s biggest traditions: the Halloween celebration at school.
Students participate in a big way, setting up scenes and skits up to a week in advance for the big day.
The teachers have fun, too. They set up a “haunted experience” that students can walk through, where teachers scare them.
“Ninety-nine percent of them have a great time and jump and scare,” said computer graphics teacher, Pete Graff. “A couple tough guys walk through, ‘I’m not scared,’ but I just made a few football players jump.”
Staff at the school say that while education is the focus at CHS, traditions like this are important to bring fun into the classroom.
