Centofanti’s 3 TDs helps Springfield to big victory

NEW MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Frankie Centofanti scored three times for Springfield en route to a 61-0 victory over United.

Springfield outgained United 438 to 105, which translated to 8.8 yards per play to 2.6. The Tigers had a balanced offensive attack by gaining 266 yards on the ground and 172 yards through the air.

Graham Mincher completed 14 of 18 for 172 yards and 2 scores for the Tigers. Mincher also picked up 60 stripes rushing. Hunter Troggio led the team with 80 yards on 2 carries. Cody Allen and Frankie Centofanti both had 4 catches a piece while Jake Ford caught 3 passes.

For United, Colton Graham connected on 7 of 11 passing for 49 yards. He also led the team in rushing with 22 yards.

United had won 6 of the last 8 games in the series with the Tigers.

Springfield finished the season with a 4-6 mark as the Golden Eagles closed out the year with a 2-8 record.
