Commissioners push for support of senior services levy

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Trumbull County officials showed their support Friday morning for the area’s senior services.

They’re asking voters to say YES to a .75 mill, 5 year renewal levy that will appear on Tuesday’s ballot.

The measure has passed the last two times, but commissioners said demand has grown.

Levy money helps pay for meal delivery, protective services and prescription assistance. It also includes transportation and being able to go to senior centers in Trumbull County.

The Trumbull County Commissioners and other local leaders endorsed the levy.
