McDanel runs for 4 TDs; Reynolds upsets Big Red

GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Reynolds has won back-to-back games for the first time this season after their 42-19 win over West Middlesex tonight. The Raiders now sit at 3-6 following their consecutive wins over Mercer last week and now the Big Reds. Dylan McDanel rushed for four scores including an 80-yarder and a 66-yarder in the third quarter.

McDanel gained 275 yards rushing on 26 carries. Also for Reynolds, Garrett Daniello gashed West Middlesex defense for 75 yards on 5 attempts (2 TDs). Adam Ballish ran for 66 stripes on 9 totes. The Raider defense forced 3 turnovers.

The last time Reynolds knocked off West Middlesex was in 2004 when the Raiders shut out their Mercer County opponents by the score of 35-0.

The Big Reds’ quarterback Nick Cannone threw for 134 yards on 6 completions and 2 touchdowns including a 50-yard toss to Jourdan Townsend in the third quarter.

The Raiders will visit North East next week while West Middlesex (6-3) returns home for Senior Night against Fort LeBoeuf.
