LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – United Auto Workers union members with GM, including those who work at the Lordstown plant, will vote on the tentative contract agreement between the two this week.

The 4,500 local employees got details about the deal on Sunday. Union leaders say the agreement includes significant wage increases, signing bonuses and improved health care.

Last week, UAW leadership met in Detroit to negotiate the deal and recommended members approve it. Membership across the country will vote on Thursday and Friday.
