Ohio early voting to end Monday afternoon

Mahoning County Board of Elections has seen record numbers for early voting

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – If you plan on voting early this election, you have a little over an hour and half to do it.

Early voting in Ohio ends Monday at 2 p.m.

Workers at the Mahoning County Board of Elections started counting ballots from early voting Sunday afternoon.

The deputy director said more people are voting in this election than usual in a non-presidential year. He suspects it’s because of the state-wide Issue 3, which would legalize medical and recreational marijuana if approved.
