$5K in marijuana seized during Ohio traffic stop

Over $5,000 in marijuana was seized during a traffic stop in Lima, Ohio.

LIMA, Ohio (WKBN) – Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol stopped a car Monday in Allen County and discovered thousands of dollars in marijuana hidden in the trunk.

Troopers topped a 1999 Audi along Route 81 for a traffic violation and immediately smelled marijuana. A search of the vehicle uncovered more one pound of marijuana in the back seat access to the trunk.

Police put the street value of the drug at about $5,400.

The driver, Quinn R. Gadski, 18, of Connecticut, and passengers Tyler E. Dawson, 20, of Michigan, and Eric Gadski, of Connecticut, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
