Students invited to see benefit of trades school

An open house was held for the New Castle School of Trades in New Castle, Pa.

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – The New Castle School of Trades wants the public to check out their facilities, and how they work to place students in careers.

An open house is scheduled Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. so potential students can tour the facility.

Employers will be on site to help answer questions from prospective students.

“They are going to answer questions from anybody that wants to know what it is like to work in the trades field. We would like to hear directly from the employers that have been so critical in the success of New Castle School of Trades,” said Rex Spaulding, president.

Walk-ins are welcome for the open house or tours can be scheduled by calling 1 (800) 837-8299.
