Wilmington gets a much needed win over Slippery Rock

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – The Greyhounds limped into tonight’s contest having dropped four of their last six games. However, Wilmington got by Slippery Rock 42-23 to close out the regular season with a 6-4 record.

The Rockets (5-5) had only lost one game at home prior to tonight’s loss under coach Travis Sarver.

Next week, Wilmington will be matched against Cambridge Springs (in Class A) and Slippery Rock will play Fairview (in Class AA).
