Lakeview rally falls short at Crestwood

Lakeview fell to Crestwood 42-21 in the Division IV playoffs.

MANTUA, Ohio (WKBN) – Lakeview’s John Estlack rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs fell to Crestwood 42-21 in the Division IV playoffs Saturday night.

Lakeview rallied from a 21-0 deficit, cutting it to 21-14 in the 3rd quarter.

Kevin Bayus finished with 11 total tackles and 2 tackles for loss in the setback.

Logan Thut led the Red Devils with 260 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the night.  Crestwood racked up 398 rushing yards in the victory.

Lakeview ends the season with a record of 7-4.

Crestwood improves to 9-2, and advances to face Holy Name in week 12.
