Shooting on Youngstown’s south side leaves one dead

A shooting on Montclair Avenue on the south side of Youngstown left one person injured and another dead

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Police are investigating a homicide that occurred on the south side of the city.

YPD says two people were shot in front of 2240 Montclair Avenue around 6:30 Saturday night in what investigators are calling a gun battle.

One of the victims, Christopher Anderson,¬†died at the scene. The other victim, Desmond Kimbrough, was shot in the leg and taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in a private vehicle.

No charges have been filed.
