Ursuline holds off NDCL in playoff opener

Jared Fabry scored a pair of touchdowns to lead Ursuline to a 13-3 win over NDCL.

CHARDON, Ohio (WKBN) – Ursuline held off Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 13-3 in the Division IV playoffs Saturday night.

Trailing 3-0 in the second quarter, the Irish got on the scoreboard when Jared Fabry raced in from six yards out to give Ursuline a 7-3 lead.

Fabry found the endzone a second time in the third quarter on a five yard scoring scamper.  Fabry finished with 58 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Kimauni Johnson led the Irish on the ground with 140 rushing yards.

Ty Spinks added 58 rushing yards in the win.

Ursuline improves to 6-5 on the season, and advances to face Woodridge in week 12.
