Anthony Petro, charged with felonious assault after police say he hit his neighbor in the head with a stick

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police arrested a Warren man who they say hit his neighbor in the head with a stick during an argument.

Officers were called to the victim’s Lexington Avenue home at 11:24 p.m. Friday. They found a man, Michael Lisko, lying on his back and holding his neck in the driveway, according to a Warren City Police report.

Police said the argument between Lisko and his neighbor, Anthony Petro, began after a fight about Petro’s dog, which walks into Lisko’s yard frequently.

According to the report, Lisko had bruises to his collar bone and neck. He was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for the injuries.

Police said Petro admitted to striking his neighbor with the stick, and he was determined to be the primary aggressor in the fight. He was arrested and charged with felonious assault and taken to Trumbull County Jail.
