Officials announce special deer hunt in Erie

ERIE, Pa. (AP) – Pennsylvania’s Conservation and Natural Resources Department says there will be a three-day deer hunt at Presque Isle State Park next month.

The Erie Times-News reports the hunt will be open to 85 hunters using shotguns with slugs, muzzleloaders and archery equipment. The hunt will be held Dec. 9, 10 and 12.

Hunters interested in participating need to apply at the Presque Isle State Park office by Dec. 8 to be eligible for a permit.
