Struthers bus driver disciplined for driving through stop sign

Video captures a school bus in Struthers, Ohio going through a stop sign.

STRUTHERS, Ohio (WKBN) – Struthers Local School Superintendent Joe Nohra confirmed that a bus that WKBN recorded driving through a stop sign belonged to his school district.

27 Investigates recorded the footage at the intersection of Snyder Avenue and Frank Street on Thursday, Oct. 22 after reports from viewers that buses had been driving through the sign without stopping.

WKBN took the video to Nohra, who launched an investigation. Nohra said he has taken disciplinary action against the driver of that bus.

First News plans to sit down with the superintendent on Friday and ask what discipline that the driver will face and how the district will work to protect students.
