2015-16 Salem Quakers’ Girls’ Basketball Preview
Head Coach: Roger Zeigler, 19th season at Salem (280-122)
Record: 13-10 (6-8), 5th place in Northeastern Buckeye Conference

Season in Review
For the fourth consecutive year, the Lady Quakers were unable to get by the Sectional Semifinal round in Austintown. This time, Southeast defeated Salem by ten (63-53) despite winning 13 of their 22 games during the regular season. The team’s underclassmen accounted for 68.3% of the points scored in 2014-15. Coach Roger Zeigler’s top three scorers were all underclassmen (Chloe Cheresne, Olivia Stiff, Allee Davidson).

Key Returnees
Junior Chloe Cheresne shot 49.8% from the floor (128-257) while scoring 14.7 points and snagging 6.4 rebounds per game while blocking 23 shots. Three-year letter winner Olivia Stiff is welcomed back after scoring 9.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals during the 2014-15 season. Allee Davidson connected on a 6.6 scoring average as a freshman. Davidson was also able to haul down 3.0 boards.
