LORDSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – General Motors has restarted talks with the United Local Autoworkers on the terms of its tentative four-year contract.

The automaker is trying to resolve concerns that the trade skills workers have over the deal. Union leaders spent the week visiting GM plants to talk with workers to find out what they don’t like about the deal.

The contract was approved by a majority of GM union workers, but because 60 percent of the skilled trade members rejected it, the vote could not be ratified.
