Loose dog halts mail delivery in Warren neighborhood

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A southeast neighborhood in Warren got their mail delivery halted because of a resident’s dog that was on the loose.

A letter carrier was attempting to deliver Nov. 6 on Homewood Avenue S.E. when a dog that lives on the street chased him back to his truck, according to a police report.

The postal worker halted mail delivery to the entire street that day because of the aggressive nature of the animal.

The dog was reported loose again on Nov. 7.

The dog’s owner, April Perry, 35, was issued a summons on several charges, including dogs and other animals running, vicious dogs and annual registration of dogs.
